Overview

The Corporate Outpatient Coding Supervisor is responsible for supervising coding and data abstraction activities, ensuring accurate and timely coding of records according to Tenet Health policies. The role involves managing workflow, providing direction for coding activities, and participating in quality improvement processes.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Health Information Management.
• CPC or CCS and/or RHIA/RHIT certification.
• 5+ years of outpatient coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in general office and computer skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
