Overview

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for generating new leads and building a pipeline of opportunities for the IoT Cloud and Connectivity Platform business. Primary responsibilities include outbound prospecting, pre-qualifying and channeling leads to our direct and indirect sales teams for further qualification and managing of small and medium enterprise (SME) accounts. The position reports to the VP Sales

In Short

  • Responsible for generating new leads in a specified territory
  • Place outbound prospecting calls and e-mails
  • Field inbound phone calls and e-mail inquiries
  • Pre-qualify all leads for sales teams
  • Educate prospects on IoT Cloud and Connectivity services
  • Manage daily activities including call volume and quota goals
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers
  • Generate quotes based on customer requirements
  • Leverage CRM system to manage customer contacts
  • Support marketing efforts for events and trade shows

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE experience with IoT or Connectivity
  • College degree and/or equivalent in sales experience
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration
  • Proficient in CRM systems and computer skills
  • Sales training in needs-based selling approach
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Exceptional work ethic and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team
