Cloud Engineer - Azure - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Level 3 Azure Engineer to join our growing team. As a Level 3 Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing a wide variety of cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) within our Managed Service Capability which support our customer applications and services.

In Short

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure components.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Bicep.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts.
• Monitor Azure resources for performance and cost.
• Implement and maintain security measures for Azure environments.
• Collaborate with architects and developers.
• Stay updated on the latest Azure features and best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of Azure configurations.
• Participate in regular security assessments.
• Drive growth for the Telefónica Tech UK&I Cloud practice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Administrator Associate certifications.
• Proven experience as an Azure Platform Engineer.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with IaC and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail in documentation.
• Previous experience as a deployment consultant or engineer.
• Knowledge of Azure pricing and commercial models.
• Ability to attain Government managed security clearance levels.
