Manager, Operations (East Branch) - Remote

Overview

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Manager, Operations to join TR's Programs x Domestic Operations - East Branch team! The Manager, Operations will lead a motivated team of associates, provide support to volunteer leaders in daily execution of the goals and objectives of the organization. This position requires a detailed understanding of all specific functions within the Operations Department.

In Short

• Manage the assigned budget, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and financial goal achievement.
• Provide leadership and team management by supervising, mentoring and developing assigned staff.
• Evaluate individual staff and team performance to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Execute purchasing and expenses per the Branch budget plan.
• Assist with planning and budgeting in line with operational tempo.
• Support personnel recruitment and deployment.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers.
• Coordinate/manage disaster response operations.
• Lead capacity-building efforts and cross-functional collaboration.
• Organize training and simulations for disaster response teams.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in military, disaster response, or emergency management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management or related field preferred.
• Proven record of personnel management experience.
• Proficient with technology tools for remote communication.
• Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired.
