Overview

The Senior Benefits Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, financial integrity, and operational effectiveness of the company’s benefits programs, partnering closely with Finance, Payroll, external vendors, and People Ops.

In Short

  • Leads monthly benefits reconciliations across all benefit plans.
  • Partners with Payroll and Finance for accurate deductions and contributions.
  • Investigates discrepancies and develops reconciliation processes.
  • Analyzes claims data and manages self-insured medical plan.
  • Provides insights on benefits spend and trends.
  • Partners with Finance for accurate benefits-related accounting.
  • Monitors claims funding and cash flow for self-insured plans.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and supports audits.
  • Manages vendor relationships and oversees open enrollment processes.
  • Maintains accurate plan documentation and reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Experience with self-insured health plans required.
  • Strong understanding of benefits compliance regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience with claims analytics and reporting dashboards.
