Regional Director, Network Engagement for APAC - Remote

Overview

The global Teach For All network is looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to support a diverse group of network and prospective partner organizations in the Asia Pacific region. As the Regional Director, Network Engagement for APAC, you will steward Teach For All engagement with 5-7 of the region’s partner organizations and prospective partner CEOs, working to build and deepen relationships and collaborations across the region, and to accelerate impact and learning across your portfolio of CEOs and partner organizations. This is essentially a senior consultant & portfolio manager role, responsible for working closely with non-profit executives and senior teams across APAC to establish credibility, diagnose needs and opportunities, consult on strategic challenges, and mobilize resources. The role also involves extensive collaboration, working alongside a strong and experienced team of colleagues who are based in remote work locations across the region and world to leverage existing knowledge and to maximize impact and learning.

In Short

• Support a Portfolio of Current Partner Organizations and Prospective Partners (80%)
• Provide direct support and thought partnership to approximately 4-6 partner organizations and prospective partner CEOs in the region.
• Co-create and manage the implementation of an annual partnership plan with each organization.
• Act as primary day-to-day relationship holder with a portfolio of current and prospective partner organization CEOs.
• Share insights and provide support to partner and prospective partner organization CEOs.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the region.
• Facilitate meaningful learning experiences in the region.
• Contribute to Asia Pacific Regional Strategy and Team Strength (20%)
• Play a critical role in devising, executing, and monitoring the region’s strategy.
• Participate in team and organizational meetings and activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years full time work experience, including at least 5 years in the Asia Pacific region.
• Experience working in multiple country contexts across the region.
• Prior experience with one of our network partner organizations is preferred.
• Previous experience in building and growing effective partnerships is preferred.
• Ability to be highly visionary, strategic, and analytical.
• Exceptional relationship building skills.
• Ability to understand multiple local contexts quickly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues globally.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
