Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the collection of payments on both facility and patient accounts, supporting the revenue cycle by ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.

In Short

• Fully remote position in CST time zone.
• Contact facilities and patients regarding outstanding balances.
• Document collection efforts and update account statuses.
• Establish payment arrangements per company policy.
• Perform insurance claim follow-ups.
• Collaborate with other collectors to improve collection rates.
• Assist with other posting/collection duties as needed.
• Requires at least 1 year of experience in Healthcare Collections.
• Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Healthcare Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently.
• Professional telephone etiquette required.
