Overview

Tapcart is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative for a temporary 3-month contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating top-of-funnel demand by conducting outreach through cold calls, emails, social channels, etc.

In Short

  • Prospect new business opportunities with top DTC brands on Shopify.
  • Develop account plans and conduct personalized outreach to stakeholders within your territory.
  • Generate qualified opportunities via cold calls, email, and social media channels.
  • Participate in campaign sprints, field events, and partner initiatives to drive top-of-funnel performance.
  • Play an active role in the development of outreach strategies, content, and messaging.
  • Conduct initial outreach to prospects and position the Tapcart value proposition effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Business Development or similar role.
  • Proven track record of generating qualified opportunities through cold outreach.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly and thrive in a remote position.
  • Polished and professional written/verbal communication skills.
  • Coachable and ready to take your sales skills to the next level.
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Chorus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
