Overview

The Trade Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Tandem’s dual Channel strategy with trade accounts, ensuring market share and profitability through strong relationships and strategic planning.

In Short

  • Develop and implement dual channel strategy with trade accounts.
  • Serve as a liaison between Tandem and assigned accounts.
  • Forecast and resolve operational problems.
  • Establish long-term contractual relationships.
  • Collaborate with US Commercial team on strategy execution.
  • Review account metrics for high-level execution.
  • Provide input for training programs for distributors.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue and market share growth.
  • Participate in quarter close efforts with distributors.
  • Provide administrative support and prepare reports.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of the Trade industry.
  • Broad understanding of sales techniques in medical devices.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and data persuasively.
  • Strong analytical skills for sales and financial data.
  • Understanding of US access environment and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and manage new initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of sales experience with account management.
