Overview

We are looking for a sales hunter with a hospital healthcare background who can find new business with leadership at hospitals for our Ovid Synthesis software solution.

In Short

  • Proactively seek out and identify potential clients and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and qualify leads to ensure alignment with our target market.
  • Develop and execute strategies to approach and engage prospective clients.
  • Conduct compelling sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Handle negotiations with prospective clients and guide them through the sales process.
  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • 5+ years field sales experience required.
  • Knowledge of the hospital industry and clinical marketplace is essential.
  • Proficiency with CRM applications such as Salesforce.
  • Results-oriented and proactive with a strong work ethic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in sales roles.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate terms and close deals.
  • Skilled in developing and executing strategies to attract new clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Experience negotiating with hospital leadership, IT, and Procurement.
  • Experience in the publishing or information industry is a plus.
  • Motivated by metrics in a quota-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel 20% for customer meetings and conferences.
