In Short

• Split responsibilities 50/50 between hands-on coding (Golang) and management.
• Work on a technically complex, high-load product with a large amount of data.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and logging.
• Oversee the migration of marketing notifications and implementation of a new robocall provider for collections.
• Ensure effective task prioritization within a small backlog.
• Act as a mentor and coach, fostering a collaborative and productive team culture.
• Maintain on-call rotations (including yourself) and improve operational processes.
• Work towards separating the team from the risk department for better focus and efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Golang (hands-on coding required).
• Experience with high-load platforms and optimizing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with admin panels and internal tooling.
• Previous experience as a Team Lead or Staff Engineer / Tech Lead with leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to balance technical execution and team management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
