Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of Syntegon products at customer sites, ensuring excellent technical customer service and satisfaction.

In Short

• Provide turnkey support for new machine installations.
• Update and modify machine control software.
• Coordinate upgrades to improve machine functionality.
• Support customers, Customer Service, and Sales as needed.
• Work in a cleanroom environment and tight spaces.
• Travel extensively in North America and worldwide (approx. 75% travel required).
• Maintain machine configuration documentation.
• Participate in continuous training for technical expertise.
• Process expense and trip reports promptly.

Requirements

• 2-year Technical degree with 2+ years experience in Packaging Equipment or 5+ years in the Packaging Industry.
• 5+ years experience in repair and maintenance of capital equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexible schedule for travel on short notice.
• Valid Driver's license required.
