Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Field Service Technician at ZEISS, you will play a crucial role in the installation and servicing of high-tech machines, showcasing your skills in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.

In Short

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and service high-tech machines at customer locations.
• Interact with customers and support service groups.
• Aid the R&D team with engineering work related to design and testing.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
• Travel requirement of 90-100% within the service area, including international travel.
• Complete administrative paperwork accurately.
• Work independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Minimum of 50 hours per week including overtime.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and electrical test equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience with industrial electronics or CMM preferred.
