Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing tests, repairs, and maintenance of technical installations at customer sites, providing telephone support, and assisting with installations across the USA and Canada.

In Short

• Perform tests, repairs, and maintenance at customer sites.
• Provide telephone support as part of the helpdesk team.
• Responsible for PLC software configuration and live testing.
• Train end users and integrators at customer sites.
• Assist the Commissioning team during installations.
• Detect commercial service opportunities with clients.
• Travel across the US with overnight stays.
• Handle projects across the country.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel 90% of the time across the USA and Canada.
• Good knowledge of English; French or Dutch is a plus.
• Computer skills: MS Office + Teams.
• Sociable, eager to learn, driven, and cheerful personality.
• Comfortable working at heights.
