Overview

The Account Executive (AE) is a field sales role responsible for growing business with targeted clients in the higher education sector while working from a home office when not traveling.

In Short

  • Responsible for growing business with existing Symplicity clients.
  • Demonstrate leadership building and managing teams in support of client opportunities.
  • Proactively position a positive business outcome to the clients’ current business problem.
  • Drive and execute market and account management activities.
  • Engage strategic partners for resources, fulfillment, and account management.
  • Continuously analyze sales forecasts and modify based on outcomes.
  • Communicate Symplicity’s value proposition effectively to clients.
  • Lead resolution of client issues and report to the VP of Sales.
  • Work with multiple higher-educational institutions to meet client needs.
  • Travel as necessary for client meetings.

Requirements

  • Software sales experience in the higher education space.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling to higher-education clients.
  • Ability to deliver practical business solutions.
  • Experience tracking activities in a CRM system.
  • Extensive experience managing higher-education relationships.
  • Strong business acumen with a network of existing clients.
  • Availability to travel when necessary.
