Technical Control Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Technical Control Engineer will play a hands-on role in the operations of the Symbotic system at client sites, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving end-user help requests.

• Responsible for receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving end-user help requests.
• Assist in problem resolution related to operations.
• Field incoming help requests from end-users via various communication methods.
• Develop help sheets and knowledge base articles for end-users.
• Test fixes to ensure problems are resolved.
• Perform ongoing activities to assist with on-site issues.
• Remotely assist site teams with troubleshooting using video conferencing.
• Train plant electricians on troubleshooting controls related issues.
• Minimum of 3 years industrial controls experience required.
• Basic understanding of Ladder Logic and related software.

Requirements

• Experience with PLC/Robot, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of advanced sensor programming.
• Experience with communication networks.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel for training and site support.
