Senior Technical Content Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a passionate Senior Technical Content Engineer to educate Pulumi’s rapidly growing community on infrastructure as code best practices and how best to maximize use of the Pulumi platform to achieve success in building modern cloud infrastructure. You will be a part of realizing a vision where every engineer can program the cloud.

In Short

• Author, manage, and update a comprehensive set of documentation materials.
• Write blog posts or whitepapers offering architectural guidance.
• Create technical curriculum and content for customer education.
• Improve and maintain consistency in Pulumi’s style guide.
• Conduct peer reviews for content submitted by other authors.
• Engage with the community to meet user needs.
• Define and document infrastructure as code best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a software or devops engineer, with 1 year documenting products.
• Experience in technical writing domains.
• Empathy for developers and understanding of their documentation needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with programming languages like Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
