Overview

The Associate Vice President – Global Transition will lead complex, enterprise-scale transition programs for Sutherland’s portfolio of global clients, ensuring seamless delivery of transition initiatives aligned with Sutherland’s growth and digital transformation objectives.

In Short

  • Provide strategic leadership for global transition initiatives.
  • Manage Transition and Transformation (TnT) teams across the Philippines, Americas, and Europe.
  • Oversee a portfolio of transition projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues.
  • Present transition strategy and approach during client deal pursuits.
  • Delegate and ensure timely, high-quality responses to all RFPs requiring a Transition Solution.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Transition and Project Management to develop strategic plans.
  • Lead and mentor transition project managers.
  • Manage senior stakeholder communications and escalation paths.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on program-level KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with transition methodologies and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years in project portfolio management.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Expertise with modern PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively across diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in business process outsourcing or consulting preferred.
