Customs Supervisor - Japanese-English Bilingual - Remote

Overview

This is a Remote Work position for a Customs Supervisor who is bilingual in Japanese and English, focusing on logistics and customs compliance.

In Short

• Gather and analyze import duties and fees by customer and month.
• Support with the Import Duty Budget.
• Supervise the application of special tariffs and Free Trade Agreements.
• Assist with Customs Clearance Instructions to Brokers.
• Coordinate Special Programs with Customs Brokers.
• Review and approve REQs.
• Provide assistance to the Assistant Manager's team.
• Support the Customs General Manager on special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in US Customs Compliance.
• Knowledge of USMCA Automotive Industry Regulations and Free Trade Agreements.
• Business Level Japanese and English language skills required.
• Strong Business Planning Skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Able to analyze data effectively.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and teamwork skills.
