Billing Specialist (Part-Time) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to take full ownership of all billing operations within our day-to-day business. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our billing systems while ensuring exceptional communication with internal teams, patients, providers, and various departments.

In Short

• Generate and manage monthly billing for house account clinic.
• Schedule and manage ACH withdrawals.
• Update and monitor payment methods across multiple clinic accounts.
• Review and balance statements to ensure accuracy.
• Audit invoices to detect pricing and typing discrepancies.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all billing duties.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
• Adhere to company protocols and compliance standards.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Take direction effectively and work independently when required.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma
• Proficient in Lifefile software.
• Experience in a billing or accounting role (healthcare or pharmacy billing preferred).
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
