Property Accountant II - Remote

In Short

• Provide internal and external reporting of a portfolio/property’s financial results.
• Prepare monthly financial statement packages and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting deadlines.
• Communicate with property management and clients regarding financial information.
• Support property budgeting and expense reconciliation.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses.
• Manage and review cash accounts for timely payments.
• Review and process vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with SOC I requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related accounting/reporting experience.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and team members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask.
• Intermediate competence in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of accounting software like Yardi or MRI is a plus.
• Experience in full-cycle G/L accounting and real estate is a plus.
