Property Accountant II - Remote

In Short

• Provide internal and external reporting of a portfolio/property’s financial results.
• Prepare the monthly financial statement packages for clients.
• Interact frequently with the property management team regarding accounting and financial information.
• Support the property budgeting process and expense reconciliation preparation.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses as required.
• Manage and review the cash accounts of each project/property.
• Review and post cash receipts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SOC I requirements.
• Provide excellent external and internal customer service.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related accounting/reporting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact with Clients and team members.
• Self-motivation and ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Intermediate competence in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of various accounting software; Yardi and/or MRI experience is a plus.
• Full-cycle G/L accounting experience is a plus.
