Senior Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for the application design, development, testing and deployment of mission-critical SaaS applications for SEI.

In Short

• Design and develop modifications to custom SaaS applications.
• Work closely with business analysts and project teams.
• Implement technology solutions using Agile methodology.
• Adhere to Agile development methods and Test Driven Development.
• Perform analysis assistance and custom software development.
• Collaborate with project team members to create systems.
• Participate in software releases and develop test plans.
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend solutions.
• Provide level 3 support for enterprise applications.
• Contribute to the development of technical best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in web application design and development.
• 4+ years experience with React JS, Node, and Typescript.
• Experience with RESTful Web Service development.
• Preferred experience with Test Driven Development, AWS, Git, Jira.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when needed.
