In Short

• Own the team’s backend services and AWS infrastructure.
• Build Python APIs to deliver data science to farmers.
• Create AWS infrastructure to support APIs and data science tools.
• Mentor and lead team members in software development practices.
• Design and build scalable databases.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI.
• Write clean, maintainable, and adaptable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Collaborate with distributed and multi-region teams.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience as a software developer.
• At least 1 year of Python programming experience.
• Proficient in object-oriented and functional programming.
• Familiar with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
• Background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus.
• Experience in AgTech development is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum.
