Taxwell helps everyday Americans get every tax advantage they deserve by finding credits and deductions they never even knew existed. We’re looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Federal Tax Filing team and help improve critical parts of the tax filing experience.

In Short

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C#/.NET.
• Experience with Angular or Vue.
• Familiarity with Microsoft development tools.
• Experience with production systems.
• Proactive mindset and curiosity about systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum-based teams is a bonus.
• Experience in regulated domains is a plus.
