DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The DevOps Engineer will help us build and maintain functional systems that improve both customer experience and help the development team build/test/deploy our applications.

In Short

• Deploy updates to our infrastructure.
• Identify issues and provide improvements to our deployment process.
• Work closely with the development team to implement updates.
• Implement security requirements with the IT team.
• Maintain regular audit records of security best practices.
• Setup, manage, and scale server resources.
• Perform regular maintenance including security patching.
• Optimize the deployment process for user experience.
• Assist in setting up network resources for applications.
• Work with IT to set best practices for security auditing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in software development with SaaS applications.
• 3–5 years of Kubernetes experience, including Helm charts.
• Strong background in Linux Administration (Ubuntu preferred).
• Experience with Automation/Configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Experience with AWS services for SaaS platform management.
• Knowledge of managing database environments (MySQL preferred).
• Working knowledge of coding (PHP, Python, NodeJs).
• Knowledge of best practices in IT operations.
• Previous experience with Docker in a services-oriented architecture.
