DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with the development team to oversee infrastructure decisions and take ownership of the platform upon its release.

In Short

• Review AWS resources and ensure best practices are followed.
• Validate VPCs, peering, and routing for security and performance.
• Audit IAM policies and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Evaluate observability stacks and ensure proactive alerting.
• Confirm automated scans and incident response procedures are in place.
• Gather evidence for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Review CI/CD pipelines for security and efficiency.
• Test data backup and restoration processes.

Requirements

• Experience with Terraform and AWS services.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security.
• Familiarity with observability tools like ELK or Prometheus.
• Experience working under SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response.
• Ability to work with a time overlap with New York time.
