Director of Logistics & Operations - Remote

Overview

Starface is seeking a Director of Logistics & Operations to support the execution of our Operations strategy including transportation management oversight and execution, order fulfillment, and 3rd party DC relationship management for multi-region operations.

In Short

• Lead logistics and operations strategy for Starface.
• Manage order fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Oversee relationships with 3rd party distribution centers (3PLs).
• Ensure inventory accuracy and implement best practices.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage a direct report responsible for inbound and outbound transportation.
• Implement KPIs to monitor performance metrics.
• Participate in user training for system updates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in logistics and/or operations within the CPG space.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Proven track record with 3PL distribution centers.
• Hands-on experience with order fulfillment for B2B retailers.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and ERP systems.
• Strong quantitative skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work over holidays as needed.
• Experience implementing best practices in a start-up environment.
