Overview

The L1 Helpdesk Engineer will provide technical support for Mac and Windows devices, assist with user onboarding/offboarding, and ensure efficient endpoint management for a leading cybersecurity and IT operations company.

In Short

  • Assist with user onboarding/offboarding
  • Act as L1 support for all Tanium employees
  • Provide break-fix and technical support for Mac and Windows devices
  • Configure and support issues with iOS and Android devices
  • Provide remote support to end-users
  • Meet defined SLAs on tickets
  • Help create content and develop the knowledge base
  • Basic MDM and client installation troubleshooting
  • Work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Night/Graveyard Shift PH Time

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant technical support experience
  • Solid MAC OS support experience
  • Understanding of operating systems (Mac OS, Windows)
  • Experience managing users with Microsoft O365 and Active Directory
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Experience with a ticketing system, ServiceNow preferred
  • Ability to support both non-technical and highly technical end users
  • Experience managing VOIP solutions or similar cloud-based communications platform
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
