Dispatch Technician - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Dispatch Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be a member of the team that is responsible for the logistical processing of support requests; this includes coordination with vendors, technical support staff, billing representatives, parts and shipping.

In Short

• Responds to service requests and prioritizes work orders.
• Schedules installations and task assignments to field technicians.
• Creates service tickets utilizing our ticketing system.
• Directs field technicians with written service requests.
• Monitors work order status and adjusts assignments.
• Calls customers to seek approval for dispatching technicians.
• Negotiates rates with vendors.
• Creates quotes from vendors and sends them to customers.

Requirements

• Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Basic clerical skills and ability to operate office equipment.
• Knowledge of help desk, troubleshooting, or telecom skills is a plus.
