Overview

We’re looking for an Account Director to own relationships with top-tier brand marketing partners, overseeing a portfolio of mid-market brand customers using Stacker’s content distribution platform. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive growth for accounts across a diverse range of industries, develop strategic account plans, and help scale the Account Management function as we expand. This emphasis on this role is the ability to retain and renew accounts. This is done through regular engagement and value driving conversations with clients as well as cross team collaboration with our editorial team, product team, and distribution team.

In Short

  • Own and grow relationships with top enterprise brands, ensuring strong retention and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with partner goals and drive renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, helping build a world-class account management function.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Newsroom, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of partner campaigns.
  • Analyze data and trends to improve account performance, optimize retention strategies, and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, proactively identifying and resolving challenges before they impact partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Management, Customer Success, or Account Management—preferably in martech, adtech, B2B SaaS, or media.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, content, SEO, PR, and earned media strategies.
  • Proven ability to grow existing customer accounts, successfully driving upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.
  • Strong relationship builder with experience managing senior stakeholders at Fortune 500 brands.
  • Process-driven operator who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Natural collaborator with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and developing strategies in undefined environments.
