Senior Manager, Professional Services - Remote

Stack Overflow is expanding its Professional Services function to meet growing enterprise demand. We need a builder to scale a high-margin business line that drives customer retention, expansion, and strategic partnership positioning. This is a rare chance to architect a services organization inside an iconic developer brand at a pivotal moment.

In Short

• Lead a Community Delivery team and Forward Deployed Engineering team.
• Build operational foundation, delivery playbooks, and commercial engine.
• Set utilization targets and conduct quality reviews.
• Manage the Lead Community Delivery Manager and the Forward Deployed Engineering team.
• Coach on delivery methodology and customer communication.
• Lead the evolution of services portfolio in partnership with Solutions Consulting leadership.
• Work directly with customers to scope engagements and write SOWs.
• Track revenue, utilization, and margin weekly.
• Build enablement materials for Sales and Customer Success.
• Experience in developer tools or platform/API products.

Requirements

• Six to ten years in professional services or consulting delivery roles.
• Experience launching or iterating service offerings.
• Hands-on scoping experience and executive presence.
• Financial literacy to build utilization models and read a services P&L.
• Executive communication skills for C-level presentations.
• Background in environments proving ROI for services.
• Familiarity with MCP, RAG architectures, or enterprise AI deployment.
