Overview

Sprinter Health is seeking an experienced attorney to join our legal team as Senior Legal Counsel, providing strategic and day-to-day legal support across various functions within the organization, focusing on healthcare delivery and regulatory compliance.

In Short

• Provide legal support across product development, regulatory compliance, and employment matters.
• Focus on commercial contracting and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on telehealth and digital health regulations.
• Support HR with employment law issues and policy drafting.
• Collaborate with compliance on monitoring and oversight activities.
• Draft privacy policies and data governance procedures.
• Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Build and scale internal legal processes and templates.
• Work cross-functionally with various departments.
• Be a trusted partner to leadership across the organization.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal experience with at least 2+ years in-house in a startup.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory law and privacy/data protection.
• Ability to manage complex matters independently.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience in a product-centric or digital health organization.
• Strong prioritization and deadline management skills.
• Experience working with payers or health-tech vendors is a plus.
• Background in IP or clinical research agreements is a plus.
• Experience mentoring junior attorneys is a plus.
