Data Analyst II - Remote

Overview

Spark is seeking a Data Analyst II to join our data team. Historically, the medicare distribution industry has had a lack of transparency, but Spark is on a mission to change that. You can be a key part of the change by helping Spark build robust analytics that power our business insights and decision-making.

In Short

• Partner with stakeholders across product, operations, and business teams to understand their analytical needs.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using modern BI tools.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Create and maintain documentation for analytical methodologies.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Experience with modern data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis roles delivering business intelligence.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Hex).
• Experience working with BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar.
• Willingness to dive into messy datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
