Overview

Southwest Strategies Group is seeking a full-time, entry-level Account Coordinator to join our Central Valley team. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing and interpersonal skills, who is highly organized, efficient, and able to multitask effectively.

• Full-time position as an Account Coordinator
• Support project managers with community outreach and media relations
• Develop content for social media and other communication channels
• Assist in event planning and execution
• Conduct client-related research and stakeholder engagement
• Respond to inquiries and manage project logs
• Coordinate public hearings and open houses
• Must be located within the Central Valley
• Primarily remote with some in-office requirements
• Travel required up to 15-20% of the time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with AP Style and grammar rules
• Fluency in Spanish required
