Web and Graphic Designer - Remote

Overview

The Southwest Strategies Group is seeking a full-time Web and Graphic Designer to join our team. This Designer provides in-depth support to SWS Group clients by designing, creating and managing compelling content across various platforms to inform and engage the public.

In Short

• Contributes to evolution of web design strategy, ensuring visually compelling and user-friendly digital experiences.
• Stays up to date on emerging web trends, UX/UI best practices, and technologies to enhance design quality and innovation.
• Ensures ADA-compliant web design, optimizing accessibility, usability and performance for all digital experiences.
• Assists account staff and clients on the development of creative briefs.
• Maintains brand guidelines and style to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Meets provided deadlines and budgets, working in a quick turnaround and fast-paced environment.
• Designs and develops website mockups, wireframes and final web layouts.
• Maintains, updates, and manages website content to align with branding, accessibility standards and performance optimization.
• Designs layouts, graphics, animations, 3D art and videos for new media.
• Prepares graphics and videos for social and digital media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, multimedia design or a closely related field.
• 3+ years previous professional experience in one or more of the areas listed: web design, multimedia graphics, digital media production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Webflow.
• Experience at PR or ad agency preferred.
