As a Senior Accounting Manager reporting into the Global Controller, you will play a critical role on a small team in overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and driving process improvements.

Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
Lead revenue recognition and expense management, ensuring adherence to ASC 606.
Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Manage and mentor team members ensuring professional growth.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings.
Assist with developing and maintaining technical accounting memos.
Collaborate with FP&A on variance analyses and ad hoc analyses.
Stay up to date with accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices relevant to SaaS/software businesses.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Experience with Software License and/or SaaS startups is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with NetSuite, Avalara, Airbase, Expensify, and other useful accounting software.
Google Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency (with mastery of Excel and Google Sheets).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and to prioritize & manage multiple projects.
Must be self-motivated and someone who can lead their accounting functions with little guidance.
