Senior DAS Support Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sr. DAS Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting SOLiD’s North American customers with technical troubleshooting both remotely and in the field when necessary.

In Short

• Provide Tier 2 DAS troubleshooting resources over the phone or on-site as needed
• Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of new product features for Day 1 Support
• Work closely with integrators to resolve field issues affecting DAS performance
• Interface with carriers to ensure proper signal quality
• Write documentation to aid supportability of SOLiD portfolio
• Collaborate with Support team to enhance training materials
• Create field trip reports with issue analysis
• Request feature enhancements to product management
• Evaluate updated features using demo gear
• Mentor and train new employees and junior Support Engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or RF Engineering or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of proven RF/DAS experience
• Thorough knowledge of RF test equipment
• Intimate knowledge of wireless technologies (CDMA, GSM, LTE, 5G)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with NetSuite or similar financial software is a plus
