Technical Support Director - Remote

Overview

We seek a highly motivated and technically qualified individual to join our Operations Team. The Technical Support Director will be responsible for communications with our HQ Teams in South Korea on highly technical topics related to SOLiD’s North American Product Line and disseminating that information to SOLiD’s Services and Support Teams.

In Short

• Responsible for product quality assurance metrics
• Manage communications with HQ regarding major equipment field issues
• Create policies for advanced troubleshooting methods
• Develop methods to reduce support issues requiring on-site support
• Implement strategies to raise technical capabilities of the Services and Support Teams
• Identify training needs and elevate technical knowledge
• Provide director-level expertise for high-profile customer issues
• Participate in Field Service Calls as needed
• Work with Product Line Management to improve products
• Complete technical projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or RF Engineering
• 10+ years working with DAS and RF Engineering
• Thorough knowledge of SOLiD’s products and troubleshooting techniques
• Knowledge of RF test equipment
• Intimate knowledge of wireless technology (CDMA, GSM, LTE, 5G)
• Effective communication skills
• Preference for candidates who can speak Korean
