Manager, Solar and Storage Reliability Initiatives - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Solar and Storage Reliability Initiatives is expected to be knowledgeable in renewable energy, specifically solar and storage resources, power electronics, inverters, and related components, and their integration into the grid.

In Short

• Track and document reliable integration of solar energy resources into the grid.
• Support SEIA’s policy on reliable integration of Solar and Storage IBR resources.
• Participate in working groups related to IBRs and track associated standards.
• Advise on best practices for inverter-based resources and integration standards.
• Knowledge of current and emerging Solar and Storage interconnection requirements.
• Liaison with OEM members, DOE, National Labs, and peer organizations.
• Plan and host webinars and conferences on reliability topics.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent oral communication, writing, and editing skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and independent work style.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to learning new skills.
• Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office tools.
