Overview

As the very first Commercial Sales Manager at Socket, you'll lead and expand our high-performing team of commercial account executives focused on net new business growth. You'll be responsible for team development & mentorship, revenue acceleration, process optimization, and creating a culture of excellence that delivers exceptional results.

In Short

  • Hire, mentor, and develop our team of Commercial account executives to achieve revenue targets.
  • Establish onboarding and ramping processes for new hires.
  • Manage revenue forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Lead Commercial sales strategy for sustainable revenue growth.
  • Design territory-specific sales plans in collaboration with marketing.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Teams, and Customer Success for unified strategies.
  • Drive data-driven insights to monitor sales metrics and identify performance patterns.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 2 years selling to technical personas.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting and developing sales teams.
  • Proven ability to drive new customer acquisition and revenue expansion.
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Superior communication skills for motivating teams and building relationships.
