Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will take full ownership of strategic customer relationships across U.S. Federal Government agencies and major commercial clients, managing these partnerships end-to-end.

In Short

  • Drive revenue growth by strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Promote Smiths Detection’s advanced threat detection technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored security solutions.
  • Manage contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Proactively address client issues and ensure positive experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and trade shows.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years in strategic sales or account management.
  • Experience managing U.S. Federal Government and large commercial markets.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Federal Government procurement processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information effectively.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office software.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in managing key accounts.
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
