Intermediate Front End Developer - Remote

Overview

The Intermediate Front End Developer is a technical role that supports in building and maintaining the user-facing aspects of Smile Digital Health’s Clinical Intelligence platform, enabling a seamless user experience through functional and interactive user interfaces.

In Short

• Support in shaping the approach and solution design of a responsive user interface.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions through coding.
• Write comprehensive code and unit tests, maintaining relevant documentation.
• Lead architectural design discussions for Angular front-end designs.
• Participate in code reviews, pair-programming, and collaborative problem analysis.
• Research technologies for new and existing modules of the solution.
• Ensure accurate tracking of billable hours and compliance with project management tools.
• Comply with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.
• Mentor and coach other developers in best practices.
• Engage in monthly Technology meetings to guide corporate technical processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the healthcare or technology industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Angular and core concepts like state management.
• Familiarity with agile and scrum processes.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
• Experience with Slack, Google technologies, Figma, Jira, Gitlab, Postman preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and docker containers preferred.
• HL7/FHIR knowledge is an asset but not required.
