Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, deploying and operating production-grade services on a variety of cloud vendors and various infrastructure platforms for Smile Digital Health, its clients and partners.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deliver complex cloud solutions.
• Lead in cloud and infrastructure deployments and delivery.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure code for various solutions.
• Maintain documentation and processes for business needs.
• Participate in sprint and project planning for technology implementations.
• Identify performance and operational gaps and develop action plans.
• Provide Cloud and Infrastructure expertise on customer support calls.
• Participate in on-call rotation for application and infrastructure support.
• Accountable for tracking and reporting working hours in NetSuite.
• Comply with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in IT, DevOps, or cloud development.
• 4+ years with Kubernetes services and templates.
• 5+ years supporting critical infrastructure and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud services and building infrastructure from scratch.
• Experience with Cloud implementations and migrations.
• Experience mentoring Cloud teams and providing expertise.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and serverless infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting languages like Powershell, Python, and Bash.
• Intermediate certifications in AWS, Azure, and GCP required.
• Professional level certifications preferred, including Kubernetes.
