Senior Solutions Architect - Health Tech - Remote

Overview

The Senior Solutions Architect is a hands-on, customer-facing role responsible for designing scalable, standards-aligned healthcare data solutions using Smile Digital Health’s platform. You’ll partner closely with enterprise clients during discovery and early design, often when requirements are incomplete, and help guide them toward the right architecture.

• Lead architectural design and solutioning during discovery and early implementation phases.
• Provide architectural oversight across the full implementation lifecycle and post-go-live.
• Assess customer-specific requirements and recommend approaches for performance optimization.

• Participate in customer-facing engagements including design reviews and technical workshops.
• Contribute to internal architecture governance through design reviews and documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture.
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing architecture discussions.
• Experience with real-time data ingestion technologies and FHIR-based workflows.
• Strong understanding of clinical data models and healthcare terminology standards.
• Working knowledge of cloud-native environments and containerized deployments.
• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and adapt solution designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with solution diagramming tools.
