Intermediate Front-End Software Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Intermediate Front-End Software Developer to work on Lightspeed’s Marketing website and other related services, as part of a small but effective and agile team.

In Short

• Create beautiful/functional web components and applications, focusing on the client side.
• Evolve and implement new and existing UI.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to deliver features and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and peer support.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
• Promote great UX.

Requirements

• Knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS).
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with bundlers and task runners (Webpack, Gulp).
• Familiarity with JS frameworks (React, Vue.js).
• Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions.
• Experience building responsive web components.
• Interest in user interface design and UX best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player.
