UX Researcher I - Remote

Overview

Smartsheet is seeking a UX Researcher I to empower product design teams with insights for informed design decisions and to contribute to cross-functional product development.

In Short

• Conduct and support end-to-end UX research projects.
• Distill research data into actionable insights.
• Present findings to UX designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Apply evaluative research methods under guidance.
• Manage research process stages with supervision.
• Learn about Smartsheet's business and user needs.
• Align research with business goals and product objectives.
• Seek feedback and mentorship from experienced researchers.
• Take ownership of assigned work.
• Support other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Less than 3 years of UX research experience.
• Familiarity with UX research methodologies, especially usability testing and interviews.
• Understanding of user needs for product areas.
• Basic knowledge of business goals and product objectives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to respond to feedback constructively.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player.
• Curiosity about design and product development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility to work in the US on an ongoing basis.
