Overview

As a Senior Manager of Product Design at Smartsheet, you will lead a team to define and execute strategic initiatives that enhance user experience, making the platform more intuitive and elegant.

• Lead a team of designers and researchers to evolve Smartsheet's user experience.
• Drive strategic initiatives and articulate a vision for user experience.
• Manage day-to-day activities of UX designers, ensuring human-centered design processes are followed.
• Deliver design deliverables including narratives, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with product teams to launch new features based on user needs.
• Establish quality processes for design execution and engineering implementation.
• Participate as a thought leader in the User Experience team.
• Work hands-on in Figma when needed to support initiatives.
• Motivate and support the design team to perform at a high level.
• Test ideas and incorporate user feedback rapidly.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX or Product Design.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong information architecture, interaction, and visual design skills.
• Experience with systems thinking and SDLC models.
• Expert in Figma and other UX prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to advocate for users at all levels of the organization.
• Experience collaborating with UX research partners.
• Ability to find innovative solutions for complex problems.
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on inclusivity.
