Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Product Design to lead and grow our talented design team at Leonardo. This is a people leadership role, where your focus will be on empowering designers to do their best work, shaping a strong design culture, and working closely with other leaders to influence product strategy.

In Short

• Support, coach, and mentor a team of product designers across UX/UI and user research.
• Build a culture of trust, feedback, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with the Strategic Product & Design Manager on design vision and strategy.
• Champion user needs and advocate for impactful design.
• Contribute to the growth of the design team.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and processes.
• Foster relationships with Product, Engineering, Research, and Marketing.
• Influence product and business strategy with design insights.
• Advocate for a strong, design-led culture.

Requirements

• Significant experience in product design with prior leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of design systems for Product Design.
• Success in designing and launching web and mobile applications.
• Background in user-centered design and UI/UX best practices.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g. Figma).
• Understanding of front-end technologies.
• Exceptional people management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to align diverse teams around a shared vision.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment.
