Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a data and backend-oriented Senior Software Engineer to help us advance our clinical AI by designing and building core systems that handle, process, and analyze clinical data at scale.

In Short

• Design, build and launch new data products, capabilities and data pipelines
• Develop and maintain streaming and ingestion capabilities using technologies like Kafka, NATS, and SQS
• Partner with other engineering and data teams to provide foundational backend and data infrastructure
• Build scalable and secure systems for accessing clinical data
• Optimize and evolve platform capabilities for future product growth
• Contribute to engineering standards, system design reviews, and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with a focus on cloud-based solutions
• Expertise in Python
• Experience with data platform solutions such as Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift, or ClickHouse
• Experience with Postgres or a similar relational database
• Hands-on experience with eventing solutions such as Kafka, NATS, or SQS
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems
• Experience with data-pipelines
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
